Frequently asked questions
Why choose Bamboo as a material?
Bamboo is the fastest growing plant on earth. Because it contains naturally-occurring antimicrobial agents, there is no need for using fertilizers or pesticides during its cultivation. Our bamboo is totally organic and wild.
Are the bristles biodegradable?
The bristles are the only part of this product that are not biodegradable, until today the only 100% biodegradable option is pig hair, which is a very controversial material, and one that we chose not to use in Gondola toothbrush.
We use Nylon-6, free from the toxin BPA (Bisphenol A).We will continue to work closely with our manufacturers to develop better alternatives. Until then, remove the bristles for proper recycling .
Is the packaging biodegradable?
We wanted our whole product to be ecological, including the packaging.
Gondola has eco friendly paper based vegan packaging, plastic free that made from recycled paper,
its biodegradable and haleps keep the earth green.
Is Gondola Bamboo Toothbrush vegan?
Yes all of our products are vegan.
Do you test your products on animals?
We do not test our products or ingredients on animals.
Which hardness of bristles do you offer?
All our toothbrushes have soft bristles. Why? The answer is simple: Recommended by dentists!
How to care your toothbrush?
Rinse and dry your toothbrush after use to keep it clean.
How to Dispose the Gondola Bamboo toothbrush?
The bristles and handle should be disassembled for proper disposal.
The bristles are made from non-toxic, BPA-free nylon. Nylon can be recycled at select recycling facilities, but due to the bristles’ small size, we recommend placing it in regular trash bin, after being easily removed from the head with pliers.
Doing so will remove a small metal staple that is used to clamp the bristles to the handle.
In total, this will result in less than 0.01 ounces of waste (a dramatic improvement from plastic toothbrushes)
The natural bamboo handle can either be reused or disposed of in a private or commercial composting bin.
The Bamboo handle will safely return to the soil within six months. Click Here to learn more.

Our toothbrushes Are grow and made in China and we follow the process of manufacture closely.
Only organic, wild, giant Chinese Moso Bamboo is used for our bamboo toothbrush handles. our bamboo is never watered by us - only natural mountain rain use for our Bamboo. Less plastic, more bamboo!
Pandas eat bamboo. How dare you?!
We took care of that. Our MOSO-bamboo grows leaves from 5 metres and up. Since pandas only eat leaves they can reach, they don’t eat the bamboo we use. We are super “panda-friendly”!
