  • Why choose Bamboo as a material?
Bamboo is the fastest growing plant on earth. Because it contains naturally-occurring antimicrobial agents, there is no need for using fertilizers or pesticides during its cultivation. Our bamboo is totally organic and wild.
  • Are the bristles biodegradable?
The bristles are the only part of this product that are not biodegradable, until today the only 100% biodegradable option is pig hair, which is a very controversial material, and one that we chose not to use in Gondola toothbrush. We use Nylon-6, free from the toxin BPA (Bisphenol A). We will continue to work closely with our manufacturers to develop better alternatives. Until then, remove the bristles for proper recycling .

  • How to care your toothbrush?
Rinse and dry your toothbrush after use to keep it clean.
  • How to Dispose the Gondola Bamboo toothbrush?
The bristles and handle should be disassembled for proper disposal. The bristles are made from non-toxic, BPA-free nylon. Nylon can be recycled at select recycling facilities, but due to the bristles’ small size, we recommend placing it in regular trash bin, after being easily removed from the head with pliers. Doing so will remove a small metal staple that is used to clamp the bristles to the handle. In total, this will result in less than 0.01 ounces of waste (a dramatic improvement from plastic toothbrushes) The natural bamboo handle can either be reused or disposed of in a private or commercial composting bin. The Bamboo handle will safely return to the soil within six months. Click Here to learn more.
